Anger is blinding. Ever hear the expression "blind rage" ?
The Bible is articulate and repetitive concerning anger, and there is no question that is is a common human problem. If you know someone who you think has no problem with anger, watch when the most annoying situation happens and listen carefully to the words that come out.
Are they words that agree with God's Word?
Are you edified when you hear them? Or are they words that try to show you how provoking the situation is?
Anger is a door through which satan enters the soul. For the Blood-bought believer, there is no enemy entrance into the spirit where the Spirit of God dwells, but there is a welcome mat for the enemy into the soul when a man entertains anger.
While the enemy is able to project an emotion when something happens, the obedient bond-servant must issue only words (whether audible or in the mind) that agree with God's Word.
In so doing, the believer is protected because obedience is a defense we have. (This defense comes because of the Blood of Jesus , not because we have earned it)
     No exceptions.
      No excuse.
