Daily Devotionals by Ardith Keef

Have you ever seen a sparrow flying in formation with Canadian geese?
No, and you never will. It is true, isn't it, that "birds of a feather fly together."
You must be with people of God who are seething hot. I don't mean people who make a display of things or people who know all the answers, or people who have knowledge. You must seek fellowship with servants of God who consider it a privilege to suffer for His name and who live for others only.
I have always been careful of folks who refer to themselves as having a "ministry."   By itself, the term is harmless. But I have found that those who are gazing upon Him and working and pressing hard for others give so little thought to their own labels that they would be embarrassed to say "my ministry".
Private prayer, shows in the eyes, the quietness of spirit, and the abandon unto the Lord - not in a big display of raised hands and having to talk all the time.
Yes, the Bible talks about raised hands, but if a man doesn't raise his hands in private prayer, and that on a regular basis, what is he really doing when he does it all the time in public?
Find the real servants by asking the Lord if you can please be with Him, and then stick like a burr!
