to give than to receive. Do you know why?
Have you considered Christmas?
Isn't it just like the Lord to have us celebrate His birth by
giving to each other?
Giving is an attribute of
the nature of God. When we give freely and without selfish reasons,
the Lord is giving through us, and there is a flow of the expression
of the Lord. It is beautiful.
That is why God's people give.
That is how the widow could joyfully give her last mite.
What is good for us is God.
What God does in us is God. What He teaches us to do are the
acts of God.
That is the reason "God
loveth a cheerful giver."
