- Don't put God in
a box. He never does the same thing the same way twice.
We miss many blessings and thrills
because we are so glued to knowledge and history. That is because
our flesh demands security. The Holy Spirit operates when the
believer walks in submission.
If I understand that the
Bible teaches that I must be clay in the hands of the Potter,
then I understand the importance of allowing
him to do things that I have never heard of. Do you suppose that
is what He means when He says "The eyes of the Lord roam
to and fro over the earth looking for a perfect heart."?
Obedience is never passive
- it is as active as the human gets. We have not even scratched
the surface of what He, in love, wants to be allowed to
do with our lives.
