- Do
not underestimate what a child can learn.
Whatever you hold to be beautiful,
your child will at first consider to be worth seeking.
So, what do you consider
beautiful?
Think about this:
the poor in spirit
the meek
those who hunger and thirst
after righteousness
those who suffer for His
sake
those who are pillars in
the house of the Lord
those who bring the good
news
those who take up the Cross,
and follow Him
- Step away
and resist the modern teaching of self-love. Psychology has invaded
every area of today's living, and it is a leaven that putrefies if it
is allowed to touch even a little bit of the soul.
Every television show and
even many Christian efforts today are marinated in these efforts
to gain a grip on feeling good about one's self and being in
control.
Don't give in even a little
bit, and deliberately teach your children to watch for it and
run from it.
