The big rewards
in heaven are not going to the Christian music stars. Nor are they going to most of the famous preachers. They will be going to women who remain silent when their husbnds berate them. They will be going to women who bend over the sink in tears, while at the same time, declare to the Lord that though He slay them, yet they will trust Him. There will be amazing awards going to servants who gave physical support to those who preached the gospel during time. Maintenance men and janitors who prayed and who got up in the night time after time without complaint - they will be receiving heaven's recognition. We seem to regularly forget that the strong don't win the battle, and the swift don't win the race. |
