       While we know that all are precious in His sight, there are some that make His heart more glad than others.
     There is a verse in I Kings where the Lord says He has waited and spared Israel certain things because David ". . .did all that I asked except in the matter of Uriah the Hittite."
     It is the track record in heaven that honors God - not the track record on earth. When we get to heaven, we will be meeting some amazing saints who have been relegated to nursing homes, prisons, and cruel husbands and wives. They will have made glad the heart of the Lord because He was more important to them than anything - even their situations.
     Press for Him in prayer. Do you know how to pray about your longing for Him? The
Psalms are a great place to start.
     He has made us needy for Him and our constant struggle is for independence!
     Let's ask him today to teach us to pray so that it will be "on earth as it is in heaven."
