There are incredible
blessings in Christ for this life! Yes, suffering is good for the Christian character and tribulation results in patience. We know that when we look back we can all point to the toughest times as the times of the greatest learning and sweetest lessons. But there are rich joys and treasures and, yes, healings to be found by and in Him. Just because so many "health and wealth" televangelists are on the wrong track - doesn't mean that we should not ask for riches in Him and for healing when we believe we are so led. While most believers exist in a milky, murky day-to-day slog-it-out kind of life, we were not created to live that way. If we pray by sight, we will live by sight. But if we learn to pray by faith and are led by the Holy Spirit, we will live by faith, and we will be carried through the frontier by the Everlasting Arms, and will know public and private, heavenly exuberance! |
