There is nothing
holding you back from serving the Lord. He takes each willing heart and mold His servants, regardless of who or what seems to stand in the way. It is true that often the situation to which we are called beckons to us long before we meet it, but that is to allow time for preparation. A stubborn mate or one whose foot is nailed to the floor does not limit the Lord. The Soldier of the Cross will present himself to the Lord, and the Lord will use him or her, and if there is nothing withheld in the heart, there will be full and powerful service. The thing is, the one being used in service will not feel powerful, but will be free of resentment, because he will have given up his own standard of what "service" is. We serve a God who regularly makes gold out of ashes. He has done it with the lives of all of His servants through the ages, and He can and will do it with yours! |
