     "For Thine is the Power and the Glory Forever. . ." rolls off the tongue really easily, doesn't it!
     What a thing to realize that it is true! Do you know most believers do not live by the truth of those words? If we took as fact that there is no power other than given by Him, and there is no glory but His, and His reign is eternal, our lives would be lived differently.
     As a matter of fact, that is the life to which He woos the Christian - to live in the truth of what the Bible teaches us, and to what the Spirit gives witness. It should stop the tongue, press exhausted bodies into action, and bring love and patience to the foreground.
     At the same time, stepping into a life that acknowledges His sovereign reign gives the Soldier of the Cross the gumption to say "no!" when appropriate.
     The message of the Bible is one of love, of course, but our response to that love must be obedience to the instruction that tell us how to live.
     Every minute.
     Every hour.
     Every day.
     No excuses.
     Hallelujah!
