View past Devotional.| Read
the Bible. Read it straight through in addition to the studying you are doing. We need to read it over and over and over. Watchman Nee had an interesting plan; he read eleven pages each night and was always at work in both the Old and New Testaments. We might think our Bible habits are private, but our lives are not. If you are born again, people watch you far more closely than the media watches the President. You need the Word. You need its cleansing, its reminders, its teaching, and more than anything, its fresh revelation of Jesus. |
