       Prayer never becomes easier.
     What does happen is that the one who prays learns life cannot be lived without prayer.
     He has begun to see that prayer exposes things, softens the ground, and calls down heavenly power.
     There is so little discipline in our modern era, that young people do not understand what it means to linger in prayer. How could they? Most of the lingerers have died!   
     If allowed room, the Holy Spirit will restore, reveal, and create in and through each second of prayer. When the heart is right, He will take crudely pasted words and use them to bring about the plan and presence of heaven.
     The Soldier of the Cross must do more than a lick and a promise - that isn't really prayer. Prayer is a place of battle. It is the place of intercession, and it is the place of tender exchange with the Lord.
     I frequently ask Him to teach me more about prayer and how to pray. If He is infinite and loves me so, there must be more effectiveness in prayer than I could ever exhaust.
     Prayer is the Crossroads of all decisions, all understanding, and all personal conflicts and resolutions for the Soldier.
