Is it easy for you to see the faults of others?      If so, you need to know you are a difficult person.        For the believer, there is a vulnerability because we have something more to protect than those without Christ. We know the Lord hates whispering that separates, and it is critical to avoid either hearing it or saying it!      We have power - no command has been given that we are without power to obey. We have been told to pursue and protect the qualities of love that we read and sing so much about.      We have an enemy whispering accusations against the brethren all the time. I'll bet it is far easier for you to see a weakness in a Brother than the unsighted you interact with every day.      Lord, I want to stand before you and love as you love me. Please teach me to see what you see, and do whatever it takes to transform this proud heart into a humble and loving one.      I beg you to go deep, deep, and pull out by the roots the things that weigh down your ministry of Grace through my life.
