Grace that is
Greater than All My Sin. . . I must remember that when I come to the Lord in confession and repentance, my confession does not cancel out my sin, rather His grace is greater, and because of grace, I am forgiven. Many believers miss the glory of regularly confessing sin in quiet times with the Lord because of a lack of understanding of what they have in Christ. It is a remarkable thing that One so perfect could love us enough to extend grace to us. How can we not enter in? Many Christians live with constant guilt and soul-writhings because they have no idea their good is not equal to their sin. They cannot understand why striving does not bring relief. But it comes back to the humbling truth that we needed His grace to be born again, and we need his grace to live. As weak and sinful as I am, His grace is greater! |
