Isn't it interesting
that you can't just cut yourself loose and go back to living
your life without Him? He has designed it that way. When you were born again, you didn't just change your ways or adopt revised thinking patterns, but you entered a new dimension where instead of air, you need Him. That is what Paul means when he says ". . .In Him we live and move and have our being. . ." That's also why you are miserable so much of the time. He cares enough to keep after you. It isn't that there is some funny little maze set up and you are a little soldier mouse trying to work your way out. You are a Soldier of the Cross, and He is tenderly and specifically wooing you and leading you with His eyes. You must remember: He cares about your every thought and His heart is ravished when you think about Him. He is an amazing Responder, and He responds to you each time you give Him a chance. |
