Daily Devotionals by Ardith Keef

We limit God by throwing forward our own plans in haste.
The plea and command of the Bible, "wait for, look for and expect the Lord"  is so diluted these days, it isn't even a teaching.
And there are so many books and opinions readily available through the media that the believer can find himself inundated with suggestions.
The curious thing about the Lords solutions is that they are somewhere between dipping in the Jordan seven times, and some dreary little thing that doesn't seem out of the ordinary.
But His way is the only way, and it is found by waiting.

We don't have to wonder if He heard or if He is coming. He said he was coming to the problem, and He also said He would take care of it.
He took care of Lazarus, and Lazarus had been dead four days.
He is never late, and He is never without the solution!
The issue is, we must want His solution, not our own.
