Daily Devotionals by Ardith Keef

There are some things that will not be resolved until heaven.
And when the Lord says that, He means it. There are misunderstandings you may or may not be allowed to resolve during time, but that is not your problem.
Often, a Soldier of the Cross is tempted to be distracted by an immediate issue that is painful. It is usually a dissagreement, false accusation, or missed award that itches to be resolved, because the flesh wants so much to be understood and agreed with now.

Wisdom will not elude the available Soldier.
In fact, as the verse says, "Wisdom calls out in the intersection" and if the Soldier is available, he can easily see if is his itch that calls, rather than the Holy Spirit in the role of lubricating Peacemaker.
When we want His way more than anything, we have the power and skill to release the issue until He deems it ripe.
One thing that is rare in all the earth is Wisdom's timing - His is vastly different than cleverness' timing.
If you regularly tell your children they are physically attractive and lead them to believe it is important, they will not be wise until they have suffered much. Youth and beauty are almost never wise, and they have no discernment about priorities. One of the disasterous effects of vanity is haste and an insecurity that ruptures when other ares are challenged.
There is a dimension that is is so delicate and precious, it cannot be accessed until some things that seem important to us are put away, or at least fully turned over to the One who allowed them in the first place.
The Bible says we must guard each word. the Bible says we must bring our thoughts into subjection and have disciplined minds. The Bible says many things that do not penetrate our hearts until we learn to put away personal agenda.
Only then can we walk in the Light.
Only then can we see Jesus.
