Daily Devotionals by Ardith Keef

We must be on guard at all times - the enemy would always have us believe ill of each other!
When King David wanted to love and honor the son of his dead friend, the young man listened to counselors who told him David's representatives were there to trick and deceive.
The young man ordered David's men shaven and had their clothing cut off at the waist, sending them went home in disgrace.
     It was a terrible thing.
This sort of thing, however, happens in Christian homes every day but goes unrecognized. We have gotten casual about listening to the enemy, and he has much freedom in our minds.
     This ought not to be.
Husbands and wives must obey God's word and assume the best. When the enemy comes in with a guess or fantasized thought against the other, the Word of God must be appropriated, and the Holy Spirit will apply it supernaturally.
Obedience is a lot more peaceful than playing along with satan!
