How do we deal
with the difficult blows we are dealt, and still cling to the
sovereignty of God? There are things that happen that seem so unfair, it seems impossible to assume the the Lord actually designed the event. No one can imagine the inner turmoil when the doctor says there is cancer, or when there is a death for which there is no preparation. Nor can anyone else know the agony when one spouse is unfaithful. Let's go the the solid Word of God. What does it say? It says that He knew before the foundation of the world! There is no question - He knew, and although it seems impossible, He designed it for our good. That is what the Bible says! Knowing his design is deliberate can allow us by faith, to release the result into His hand. It may not be easy, but it is necessary. The best and the worst - they are actually the same. they are both intended to draw us to Him, and if we respond by faith, He will be revealed to a lost world! |
