When explanation fails,
the Life of the Lord shining through His soldier comes through
loud and clear. It doesn't matter what the argument against the Lord is, the person who does not have a personal Savior is attentively watching the Redeemed! Many unsaved do not know they have a need and seem to relate in a condescending manner to Christians. But don't kid yourself - they are always watching. It seems to us that they are looking for one tiny crack, but who knows! Maybe without knowing it, they are desperately hoping to see God's reality. With very few exceptions, God reveals Himself to the lost through frail, weak, flawed, but most definitely saved believers. Furthermore, it is often the case that the lost one seems hard and getting farther and farther away, when in fact the heart is actually being won. We have no idea what is really happening. Wwe are not supposed to know and we must not guess - that's why we minister grace and leave it to the Holy Spirit. We must, however, ask the Lord to let us lead others to Him and then we pursue in prayer those He puts on our hearts - otherwise we have no sensitivity to the Holy Spirit. Like all else in the Kingdom of heaven, becoming fishers of men is a fruit of obedience and much prayer |
