There is no
such thing as a mega Christian. In a day and age when there are so many celebrities, remember that the turtle won the race, and that there is still a lesson in that old fable for the believer! The thing that is so winsome about the Apostle Paul, and the reason you heart burns and throbs when you read his letters from prison is because of his determination to call things the way they were - not the way they seemed! Think about it! There he was, sitting in squaller, chained, beaten, deserted, and there is nothing in his words but Truth! We have a Champion - His name is Jesus. Nothing can change that! Now stand up, and take the thing that is bugging you to the Lord. Talk to Him about it, but in obedience, and remembering what the Word says. The Holy spirit will open up to you the reality of the sovereignty of God, and you will never be the same! |
