The more simple
the truth, the more we need to be reminded of its value. When Soldiers of the Cross get together, they love to review and encourage one another in things the world considers unsophisticated. For example, they thrill to hear the story of how the other met the Lord. They love every detail and it never gets old. There has never been a Spirit-filled Soldier who got tired of hearing those stories. Nor has there ever been one who finally got fed up with John 3:16. The longer a Soldier walks with the Lord, the more deeply penetrated he is by the little song, "Jesus Loves Me." We will find heaven to be without sophistication, and full of Truth. The one Who will be Truth in heaven, is Truth here and now, and He is thrilling beyond all else. |
