Struggling doesn't
get us anywhere with God! Only in yielding can we see Him, hear Him, and appropriate what He has for us. It is often hard, isn't it? The Soldier of the Cross must learn to yield at the beginning of an issue, so that he is able to attend to other matters at hand. The minute we begin to squawk and flap - even if it is in our thoughts - our sensitivity to the Holy Spirit is numbed. Either all He has said is true, or there can be no reliance on any of it! I , for one, can't go back! So by grace,I will learn to let Him have my full attention! |
