Daily Devotionals by Ardith Keef

You absolutely, positively may not wait on the approval and support of anyone exclusively for reassurance that you are in the right place.
Did the Lord put you there, or did the one whose approval you seek put you there?
Some of Paul's most powerful days were in prison. In the second letter to Timothy, he says clearly that at his trial, absolutely noone stood for him to testify. All had deserted him.
Yet, he was not crippled. He had a job to do - see Jesus each day! And the power and depth that rise from the pages of this epistle is life-changing!
Sit down and count the days you have left to reach the age of sixty-five. Not many!
Don't waste them by waiting for others. Plow on and honor and obey the Lord. Build up the body of Christ. If no one around you is willing, look away unto the Author and Finisher of our faith! Move on!
Alone, under attack and intense criticism must be met in the same way as support with compliments and flattery - not too much weight.
Yes, we need each other, but He alone must be sufficient when the call is to go or to suffer or to love, and no one will go with you!
