Remember, you
live before your mate as well as the rest of the world and the
unseen powers. It is easy to forget, isn't it! But the Bible makes it clear to both men and women that our daily lives are to be lived in obedience to the Lord, and our manner of speech and calmness of spirit do not need to bounce up and down because of someone else's bad behavior or lack of understanding. We have no power in ourselves, but what happens over time when we press into devotional pursuit of God is, we develop sight. When we are where He is, there is light, and we don't have to stumble over the same things we did when we tried to get around in the dark. Even in the toughest of situations, He will teach us to sing: ". . .It is enough that Jesus died, And that He died for me.!" |
