There really
is no such thing as a narrow margin in God's economy. He either intended something, or He didn't. We tend to label things as we see them rather than as they really are, and it is important to correct our language. Why? Because it has an effect on the way we live. The sovereignty of God is a doctrine that many can spew forth, but when it comes to the daily things of life, the truth of it is not appropriated. If the Lord has appointed you to do work that is yet undone, it doesn't matter if you are in a mid-air collision - you will survive. He is never foiled, and his purposes are never thwarted. |
