His burden is
light, but He never said it would be easy! Following the Lord costs a great deal - as a matter of fact, it costs everything. And the flesh doesn't like it! It takes focus, determination, endurance, and after all that, nothing works without submission. Even the best human qualities strain against certain failure, without the Holy Spirit. There is no adventure like being a soldier of the Cross and there is no reward to compare with His presence. But you can't serve Him and be with Him, and bring everything along with you! |
