A Soldier of
the Cross must get this straight: There will not be a day when he doesn't need to minister grace in one way or another. There will not be a day when discipline is allowed to retreat. There will not be a day when his moments are unimportant, and there will not be a day when the unseen hosts don't watch his life. Look away from your life unto the things that are eternal and unto the One Who is the Lover of your soul.Then you will see the situation in perspective. It doesn't cheapen your distress, but sight always gives strength for the battle, and every soldier must be reminded that his alertness has an eternal effect on both friend and foe! |
