Be sure not
to settle in. A Soldier of the Cross must take care to avoid the least little bit of yielding to sameness. By that, I mean the Lord is always creating and using His saints to execute His plan. His plan is does not include any of His children having comfy little lives, marinated in predictability. Next to deliberate sin, the surest way to quench the Spirit is to insulate against change and attempt to guarantee the future. You will not find the Lord there! It is imperative to take a deliberate turn into a moment-by-moment life! Are you afraid? You can tell the Lord, and He will understand. He will immediately grab your hand and lead you into the Light, where you will crave His presence so much, you will be eager and panting for any turn in the road that will lead to sweet fellowship with Him. |
