It is a good thing to meditate on:
"Jesus loves me, this I know,
For the Bible tells me so. . ."

All over the English-speaking world, if you sing this song, everyone knows it. You can sing it in prisons, in sophistry, in nursing homes where there are Alzheimer's patients and in schools.
     It's simple and it's real.
When things seem to crumble, sing the simple little Sunday School songs that tell Truth. You are not whistling in the dark - you are going over the foundation again.
In fact, the real truth is, He loves you so much, the Bible says the human mind cannot even conceive of the delights prepared for those who will respond to His wooing.
How do you know it? Because the Bible says so.
How do you know the Bible is not mistaken?
Because when you gave your life to Christ, you became a dwelling place for the Holy Spirit, and if you really meant it when you made the Lord your Lord, you can't go back.
You can try, but you absolutely can't, any more than an infant can crawl back into the womb.
So, we have been given One Who will allow a deposit of Truth - the sight of it comes through the Word of God, and every page brings us back to the everlasting, overwhelming, unflagging love of God.
