Daily Devotionals by Ardith Keef

        What are you looking for?
Is it stability? Is it relief for a particular problem? Money?
You need to be looking for Jesus. That's what the theme of the Bible is, and we are in the New Testament Age!
We are to look for, hope for, wait for, and expect the Lord. That means that when we get up in the morning, we look for the Lord. When hard things happen, we look for the Lord. When phone calls come along with knocks on the door, we look for the Lord.
Why is that? Because we can't even see Him if we don't expect Him. And many Christians live out their daily lives without ever seeing the Living Christ. They don't understand the Everlasting Arms are always there because they never open their eyes to see why they have not fallen all the way down.
Often doors to blessing fling open all around, but most believers are too busy applying previously learned formulas to see the Lord through the doorway.
Soldiers of the Cross, arise! And put your armor on! He who called you is always there and He is always doing things and He is there to be seen, enjoyed, and relied upon!
