God does not
waffle about or have trouble with decisions. His Word is settled, and He has not changed. What the Holy Spirit does through the Word is teach us to live. We have Someone to watch, Someone to listen to and Someone to follow. When things get shaky or worse - when it seems all is dissolving around us, still, He has not changed. All that He has said is still true and He has been working on the solution before the problem became evident to us. Prayer will allow sight and possibly a tiny particle of explanation, but the critical thing is to move on in obedience. Like the song says, we don't know what tomorrow holds, but we know Who holds tomorrow! |
