Daily Devotionals by Ardith Keef

You must remember that the prospects are never bleak for the Soldier of the Cross.
     Why is that?
Because he has given up his life and he desperately wants to have the Life of the Master bursting out of him.
The Bible lets us know with certainty that those who wait for and trust in the Lord will never be disappointed. That means that no matter what things look like, He is at work and He is in control.
Would you like your children to live as you do? Of course not. You would love to have them live in peace every moment and walk in the conscious awareness that the One who hung the stars in place watching and is doing.
The thing is, it must be learned. And it is learned when things seem impossible. We can all quote the verses and we can give advice, but when the rubber meets the road, we must learn to submit in faith and it goes against the entire old nature.
     So be it.

Lord, I want in the worst way to learn to trust you in all things, but it is so hard to look away. I ask you to do whatever is needed to release your Life through mine. I know it takes trust that is supernatural. So, in humble prayer before you I plead with You who thrills me so, to do the deepest, deepest work of trust in this heart of mine.
