It is so critical
to come before the Lord and allow the Holy Spirit to search our
hearts. Some have a problem with thinking all they do is wrong, but most of us skim along and pay little attention to the seriousness of daily holy living. Sharp words here and there become habitual and usually offenders have no idea they are covered with snarls and barnacles when they stand before the throne and try to pray. Thank the Lord that He has made it simple. When confessed, the Blood has already paid and the Soldier can be clean. We don't always recognize things that the flesh kicks up and we need supernatural light on the matter. Also, there is a deep, sweet enjoyment of sonship when we come in honesty with the desire to drop all that is not useful. Repentence - it's a gift! |
