Our need for
Him never lessens. And oh, how we need Him! Don't you find it winsome that He has made us so? It means that He longs for our attention and has a response that is beyond our comprehension. How long has it been since you meditated on His personal love for you? I know you understand the teaching and believe it, but the experience of it is another thing altogether. I will never forget talking to the Lord for the first time about His love for me. It was a beautiful and delicate time. By telling Him about my longing to see His love and experience it, the Holy Spirit led in specific prayer. It was amazing. He didn't just cast out a generic net - He wanted you. He went after you. And, He rescued you. And the treasure He has for you is something that cannot be put into words. Resist all the seductive radio and television persuaders and go to Him in private. He is the Lover of your soul. |
