The victory
is yours, but you must claim it. That is what Revelation refers to as one who is an "overcomer". An overcomer stands in the truth and presents a resistance to those things not in agreement with the Word of God. An overcomer takes as truth the fact that things will be said and events will happen that will seem to be insurmountable. But as a Soldier of the Cross, he will stand before the Lord each day and declare back to the Ruler of heaven and earth the things that He has said about Truth. Satan is complicated. God is simple. Deep, but simple. Satan would have us strain and understand and scheme and twist into knots. The Potter simply wants obedience. |
