loves instruction and correction loves knowledge, but he who
hates reproof is like a brute beast, stupid and indiscriminating.
Proverbs 12:1 The flesh hates correction. The test? Self-justification. And we all fall into it all the time. There must be the first, followed by numerous declarations to the Lord that we want to be changed, and that we will submit to His correction. Then, and only then, will we recognize Him and have the capacity to respond to the One who is the Standard and who does not yield to the best argument! |
