Daily Devotionals by Ardith Keef

Where God reigns, the squeaky wheel does not get the oil!
The Lord is not worn down or intimidated into giving in or paying undo attention to things stemming from human insecurities and anger.
Soldier, satan has an ax to grind with you, and if you allow him, he will fill your mind with so much complaint and dissatisfaction, you will be paralyzed.
He will do it with real situations and with things that you can agree with by sight. By faith, they are always things addressed clearly in God's Word and there is no question about which voice is the Lord's and which is the pressing, nagging, whining voice of the prince of darkness.
The human tendency is to try to put out the fire before proceeding. Or, at times, it appears that certain pesky problems must be solved before anything else can happen. Maybe it is so and maybe it is not.
For the Servant of the Lord, action can not be taken just because someone demands it.
This is a tremendous divisive ploy in the Church and it always seems like an impasse.
More often than not, it is the enemy and if the face is really set like flint, after a hearty flapping, the little storm will subside and often even go away. Other swells are demonic and require fasting and prayer to specifically give sight to for plowing through the middle without yielding to the apparent threat.
Have you been called by God? Then, absolutely everything for you is turned around from the human way of dealing with things. The more the human demand, the less the Soldier should bend that way.
The Spirit of the Lord is firm but He leads. He doesn't push.
