Daily Devotionals by Ardith Keef

Don't ask the Lord for more ground unless you are willing to do what is needed to take the ground He has given you now.
It often seems noble to pray for an expanded horizon or for increased or multi-dimensional responsibilities. I have heard men pray for more a larger ministry when, in fact, the same men are not willing to deal with their wives according to the Word.
I have heard missionaries pray for large projects to be initiated when, in fact, the same folks are not willing to let the Lord manage their personal finances.
I heard women ask the Lord to bring a music ministry to her when, in fact, she was not willing to practice even five minutes a day.
Serving the Lord does not compel perfection, but He will always deal with the most immediate issues before He will expand the circumference of the land.
Soldier, look up and move on!
