The Lord knows the thoughts of man, that they are vain (empty and futile - only a      breath)
          Psalm 94:11 (Amplified Bible)

When the Bible teaches us God's thoughts are infinitely higher than ours, it is so we will not analyze Him according to our thoughts.
Moreover, we have the stunning privilege of living in His thoughts by faith and escaping the mire of thought patterns of the natural man.
As a believer takes in the Word prayerfully, he agrees with God on the present issue. When that happens, he has done so by faith because he has not weighed things against his own standard, but by the Lord's.
At that point, the believer has chosen a fork in the Road, and has stepped away from the vain and self-seeking thoughts that press so hard.
Hallelujah! We have the indwelling Holy Spirit who convicts us, leads us, and reveals Jesus when we obey.
A person's thought life can be visibly seen by standing back and looking at his priorities. Soldier, line up your thoughts with the One Whose Name is The Word!
