Daily Devotionals by Ardith Keef

What are the things you do without fail on a daily basis?
Those are the things that declare your priorities.
In the West, most people shower or bath each day, do minimal house work and even on days that don't involve employment, there are function such as coffee making, calling a particular person at a given time, or regularly watching a television show.
Have you decided to be a Soldier of the Cross?
Sit down and make a list of the things you do absolutely every day. If a devotional time is not on the list, you are a Soldier only in fantasy and not in actual service because you are operating independently, even if you feel desperately dependent.
You must make sure a private devotional time is on your list.
Was it already there? Then remember how many wonderful saints in years gone by have asked the Lord to allow them to testify of Him to a person each day - or two - or three.
Our habits are usually self-involved and while it is easy to see the habits of others, it is not so easy to see our own.
We must begin with simple obedience. Don't try to live next year's habits tonight - just get up tomorrow morning and meet with the One who wants you to walk on the water.
