Daily Devotionals by Ardith Keef

     "I'll go where you want me to go dear Lord. . ."
    A wonderful song, isn't it? But, oh how hard it is for so many to actually tell the Lord that, and mean it.
     The problem has roots in a lack of faith. The problem is not a dislike of difficulty - most of us don't like what we don't like! And it isn't just leaving what is familiar.
     The issue is, can God be trusted or not? Is He sadistically pouncing on victims who will be willing robots, or can He be trusted to lead us into blessing and reveal the ". . .riches, hidden up in Christ Jesus. . .?"
     He has never deserted a Soldier, He has never teased a Soldier, and He has never led a Soldier of the Cross into a place without Glory.
     He can be trusted. What's more, He wants to lead us into heaven, and some of us go kicking and screaming all the way.
     Not so for the soldier of the Cross.

     I'll go where you want me to go dear Lord;
     Over mountain or plain or sea.
      I'll say what you want me to say, dear Lord.
     I'll be what you want me to be!
