Daily Devotionals by Ardith Keef

We are not allowed to indulge in dribble of the mouth.
Ungodly dribble happens when we discuss something that does not need to be discussed and it brings dishonor to another at the same time.
It happens all the time and the enemy uses it vigorously.
We are only too quick to express displeasure about a myriad of things and it is rarely edifying to the speaker or the listener. It establishes a little conspiracy against someone and is almost always intended to highlight the "flaws" of another.
Paul speaks to this and calls it gossip. It might fall under "idle chatter," except for the fact that it is usually directed against someone. That removes it from the "idle" category.
Hell will be full of negativity.
Heaven will be about Jesus and nowhere will there be a group of two or three, complaining in a corner.
