You must understand
- things are not the way they seem! He said that. That is what we mean when we say "it appears that way" by sight, but, we must operate by faith Living by faith is not something that just happens - it is a decision. The Soldier of the Cross makes a decision to follow the Lord, and that means he must live by the Word of God. You can say "But, but, but. . . " And it doesn't matter. The Lord says "I am still in control and you have absolutely no idea what is really going on." Most people - even Christians - sell off their liabilities and constantly count their assets in response to how things seem. They say "Well, this is what is really happening." But the Bible calls that "sight" and tells us that to live our lives that way, is to miss God's best. Soldier, give it up! Stop saying what you will and won't do, and let the One who keeps the sun from exploding your face off, guide your life! |
