Daily Devotionals by Ardith Keef

Amazing how stubborn Christians can be when it comes to grace.
The Bible teaches us we may not return evil for evil, but snapping tongues, haughty thoughts and hufffy withdrawal, speak to what is going on in the heart.
We didn't get what we deserved from the Lord - in fact, what we got was not even the equal opposite of what we deserved.
We received grace. Grace reached out and ministered all He is.
Grace didn't get squishy and permissive or ignore the blight of sin.
But Grace revealed Himself and gave His Life.
He is still in the business today of giving His Life through those who will obey Him and step away from resentment. Soldier, we must learn to hear ourselves when we speak like a return in tennis.
Do you always want the last word? Do you need to talk about it endlessly when you have been wronged? That is its own form of evil for evil.
Too many churches and missions have score-keeping within the staff, and most families think it is normal.
It isn't normal for the believer.
