Daily Devotionals by Ardith Keef

       Remember, transformation takes power.
When we are born again, the deep changes that must take place are only possible because of power. You can't tell a person who has not been born again to "lean on the Lord" or to pray for more faith, or to expect any of the things that are the privileges of   the believer.
Yes, there is a process of moving into things of the Lord, often before salvation, but there can be no real faith, sight, or transformation without the power that is ours by the Holy Spirit because of the Blood.
The Soldier of the Cross must submit and he must do so in prayer. When that happens, he has a Lord who rushes forward and enters in to the situation or gash to change and heal. But He moves in response to the cries of His Own.
I have seen the unsaved pray for things and have them granted. It is rare, but it does happen. Only the Lord knows the heart. But when you know someone has not met the Savior, pray for inspired words and the deepest Grace that will let them see Jesus. Be sure you do not treat them as already saved and do not urge them to expect things they can't have until they are covered by the Blood and have access to the power afforded to the Blood-bought ones.
     There is no short-cut!
