Daily Devotionals by Ardith Keef

For the born again. Blood-bought believer, every relationship ought to be a ministry.
     Every relationship.
The Lord's interactions with each person ought to be reflected in ours. Our behavior should not be in reaction to another's sin, but rather in obedience to God's Word.
The problem is most thorny in the home, and a difficult spouse can get under the skin like nitric acid.
But we are not given any excuses. The Bible teaches us, and the Spirit witnesses to us that a ministry of grace is the only basis for any relationship - even the most difficult one.
A Christian who is not a praying soldier will take this idea and get loving and mushy and play doormat until just the right button is pushed, and then the canon will come out and the offender's head will be blown off.
But the Soldier of the Cross who has been praying about the situation and is willing and eager to be used, will find himself praying to be a living sacrifice in the situation. He will not only have sight, but power to reflect the infinite stability of the Lord.
Brothers and Sisters, live before the unseen powers. We don't need to be found correct, vindicated, or understood.
We only need to be found walking in obedience.
