There is
a ministry of Life that only comes out of submission to the Lord during
time of trial.
Love does not flow through the
one who is looking only for the resolution of the situation,
but through the one who has resolved to let the Lord have full
play.
The believer who sees himself as
a martyr will not be able to minister, but the one who sees himself
as placed in the cleft of the Rock will be like a sail in the
sweet breeze of the Holy Spirit.
The flesh fears hardship.
Many of our sufferings are those
we have brought on ourselves - worry, wrangling, resentment,
etc. But if allowed, the Lord will lead us through the
fire and the flood and the result is our healing and learning
faith-reliance.
His agenda for us is Himself. We
were created to trust and to walk in release.
He absolutely knows best!
