Daily Devotionals by Ardith Keef

Worship is the result of seeing who God is.
Worship is not the result of the effect a "worship team" has on a congregation. Rather is is the design of the Lord for the human heart to swell and throb at the revelation of our Holy, Awesome, and Mighty God.
Worship is the result of response to the Holy Spirit and is the organic outflow of obedience.
Most true worship is lost today because Christians are encouraged to build happy lives instead of taking up the Cross.
But those who have left all behind and moved on in obedient faith know worship.
It is most certainly possible to have a move of the Holy Spirit in song or in prayer and it is an indescribable moment to worship with the brethren.
The beginning of worship? The determination to relinquish control and bend my will to His commands and leading. That means I acknowledge with my whole life that He is so great I dare not live without placing all that I am and all that I have in the momentum of obedience.
When two who love His word come together, there is worship.
When two come together who know the sweetness of satisfied faith, there is worship.
When two come together who love His Presence, there is worship.
Where He genuinely is, there is worship.
