     Today was a day of remembrance for America.
     But for believers, it was a day to acknowledge the sovereignty of God.
    The Bible teaches us that we have a Lord who reigns over all things and that includes the events that seem evil beyond words.
     What an amazing privilege. We have a Lord to whom we must go at all times and on whom we must depend.
     There are no exceptions.

     O Lord Above All: Lord to Whom I have given my life and all that I have, I beg you to do the deepest work in me in order to bring about your Life.
     I understand evil lurks and the enemy throws into my life hills and valleys.  But your Word tells me There is path that is straight and narrow, and that is the one I choose.
     Oh Lord. I understand little, but the one thing your Word makes clear is that you are in control and I must bend my will to all that you are.
     Lord Jesus, tonight, please go more deeply in me - I resign the things that are precious to me, even though I may not know what they are. But oh Lord, I know there is nothing and no One but You.
     So Lord, please take my availability and make your own likeness in my heart.
